General Terms and Conditions

Private customer

1. Scope

The following T&Cs apply to all orders placed via our online shop. Our online shop is for consumers only.

2. Contracting party, conclusion of contract

The purchase agreement is entered into with Schenker Technologies GmbH.

Product presentations in the online shop do not constitute a binding offer; they are to be regarded as a non-binding online catalogue. You can place products provisionally in your basket under no obligation and change your options at any time before submitting your binding order by using the correction facilities provided for order processing. By clicking the order button you are submitting a binding order for the goods contained in your basket. You will receive confirmation of receipt of your order by email immediately after the order is submitted.

The point at which the contract with us comes into effect depends on the chosen payment type:

cash on delivery, credit card, instalment purchase with Consors Finanz BNP Paribas S.A. German branch

We will accept your order by sending notification of acceptance in a separate email or by delivering the goods within two days.

Advance payment
We will accept your order by sending notification of acceptance in a separate email within two days in which we will inform you of our bank details.

PayPal
During the ordering process you will be transferred to the website for the PayPal online payment service. There you can specify your payment details and confirm the payment instruction to PayPal. Once the order has been placed in the shop, we prompt PayPal to initiate the payment transaction and this constitutes acceptance of your offer on our behalf.

Sofort
Once the order has been placed you will be transferred to the website for the online provider Sofort GmbH where you can confirm the payment instruction. This causes the contract with us to become effective.

Amazon Pay During the ordering process you will be transferred to the website for the online provider Amazon before the order transaction in our online shop has been completed. There you will be able to select any delivery addresses and payment methods stored with Amazon and you can confirm the payment instruction with Amazon. You will then be transferred back to our online shop where you can complete the transaction. Once the order has been placed, we prompt Amazon to initiate the payment transaction and this constitutes acceptance of your offer on our behalf.

Cash payment on collection We will accept your order by sending notification of acceptance in a separate email within two days.

3. Contract language, saving of the contract text

The languages available for concluding the contract are German and English. We save the text of the contract and forward the order data and our T&Cs to you by e-mail. The text of the contract cannot be accessed via the internet for security reasons.

4. Delivery conditions

Delivery costs may be added to the product prices displayed. Further information on delivery costs, if applicable, are explained within individual product offers.

You are entitled to collect your order from Schenker Technologies GmbH, Walter-Köhn-Straße 2c , 04356 Leipzig, Deutschland during the following hours of business: Monday to Friday – 11.00 -17.00. Please make an appointment in advance by calling +49 341 2467040 or emailing support@schenker-tech.de.

5. Payment

The following payment methods are basically available in our online shop:

Advance payment
If you select advance payment we provide you with our bank details in a separate e-mail and deliver the goods on receipt of funds.

cash on delivery
You will directly pay the purchase price with the deliverer. No additional costs will apply.

Credit Card
With the submission of the order, you are sending us your credit card details at the same time.
After your identification as the legal cardholder, directly after the contract conclusion, we will ask your credit card company to initiate the payment transaction. The payment transaction is automatically carried out by the credit card company and charged to your card.

PayPal
During the ordering process you will be forwarded to PayPal’s online website. To pay the invoice amount via PayPal, you must be registered there or register first, identify yourself with your access data and confirm the payment instructions to us. After submitting your order in the shop we instruct PayPal to initiate the payment transaction.
Directly afterwards, the payment transaction is carried out automatically by PayPal. You will receive additional information during the ordering process.

SOFORT Online Bank Transfer
After placement of the order, you will be forwarded to the online SOFORT GmbH website. In order to pay the invoice amount via SOFORT, you must have an online banking account with PIN/TAN process for participating in SOFORT, identify yourself accordingly and confirm the payment instructions to us. You will receive additional information during the order process. The payment transaction will be carried out by SOFORT and debited to your account directly thereafter.

Amazon Pay

During the ordering process you will be forwarded to the online Amazon website before completing the ordering process in our online shop. In order to process the ordering process via Amazon and pay the invoice amount, you must be registered there or register first and identify yourself with your access data. There, you may confirm the delivery address and payment method stored with Amazon and confirm the use of your data by Amazon and the payment instructions to us. After this, you will be returned to our online shop, where you may complete the ordering process.
Directly after the order, we request Amazon to initiate the payment transaction. The payment transaction is carried out automatically by Amazon. You will receive additional information during the ordering process.

Payment by instalments
In collaboration with the online services provider Consors Finanz BNP Paribas S.A. Niederlassung Deutschland, we can offer you the option of payment by instalments. Cash payment on collection

You pay the invoice amount in cash on collection.

6. Retention of title

The goods shall remain our property until full payment is made.

7. Damage during delivery

If the goods are delivered with obvious damage caused during delivery, please report the defect to the carrier and notify us without delay. Failure to make a complaint or to make contact does not in any way affect your legal rights or the enforcement of such rights, notably your warranty rights. However, in doing so you help us to assert our own claims against the carrier or transport insurer.

8. Warranty and guarantees

We are under a legal duty to supply products that are in conformity with this contract.
For consumers, statutory warranty rights governed by the law of the country where the consumer has his habitual residence apply. Information on any additional guarantees and their precise conditions that may apply can be found next to the product and on specific information pages in the shop, if applicable.

9. Liability

We shall in any case be liable without limitation for claims due to damages that have been caused by us, our legal representatives or legal agents

  • for injury to life, limb or health
  • for deliberate or grossly negligent breach of duty
  • for guarantee commitments, where agreed
  • towards consumer.

Except these cases, our civil law liability is limited to the foreseeable and direct damages at the time of contract conclusion.

11. Online dispute resolution

We are ready to participate in extra-judicial dispute settlement proceedings before a consumer dispute resolution body.
