Thanks to its true-colour IPS panel with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), the SCHENKER WORK 15 Base offers excellent display quality. In addition to basic features such as brilliant colours, high contrast and good black levels, the 300 nits bright display also boasts 90% sRGB colour space coverage. Due to its anti-reflective, matte surface, it is always easy to read even in brightly lit office environments.

Based on its integrated Iris Xe graphics unit, it is even capable of providing advanced multimedia performance – for example, for GPU-accelerated graphics processing or for streaming AV1, HEVC and VP9 videos without additional CPU load. The well-equipped office laptop not only offers up to 64 GB of RAM, but also an SSD with a high-performance PCI Express 4.0 connection – ideal for fast loading processes and working with large amounts of data.

Only 1.75 kg light, yet robust enough to withstand any challenge: The SCHENKER WORK 15 Base impresses with a high-quality, torsion-resistant chassis made predominantly from aluminium. In addition to a high durability, this material offers improved thermal characteristics and dissipates the excess heat of the components inside the laptop much faster than a conventional laptop chassis. The built-in SSD is also connected to the aluminium bottom shell via a heat conduction pad and thus benefits from more efficient cooling and higher long-term performance.

In addition to two USB-A ports, the versatile office notebook also features an HDMI output as well as USB-C with Power Delivery and integrated DisplayPort function, allowing image output to two additional external monitors. A microSD card reader and a 2-in-1 audio jack as well as a Gigabit Ethernet port and a fast Wi-Fi 6E wireless module with Bluetooth 5 support are also included.

In video conferences, a high-resolution Full HD webcam with temporal noise reduction allows for razor-sharp image transmission. During on-site team meetings, on the other hand, a display with an opening angle of 180 degrees enables presentations with a laptop folded flat on the table. In addition, the SCHENKER WORK 15 Base is characterised by a keyboard suitable for prolific typists, which is always perfectly readable thanks to multi-level adjustable backlighting with freely adjustable colours.

TPM 2.0 and LTE modem:
Secure internet access everywhere

As the basis for a protected trusted computing platform, the SCHENKER WORK 15 Base integrates a tamper-proof TPM 2.0 hardware module. This can also be used, among other things, to manage cryptographic keys for Bitlocker drive encryption – protecting data from access by unauthorized third parties. In addition, this versatile laptop also serves as a mobile communication centre: an optional LTE modem connects to the mobile network wherever no secure Wi-Fi is available.

Als Grundlage für eine geschützte Trusted-Computing-Plattform integriert das SCHENKER WORK 15 ein manipulationssicheres TPM-2.0-Modul auf Hardwarebasis. Dieses dient außerdem anderem zur Verwaltung kryptografischer Schlüssel zur Bitlocker-Laufwerksverschlüsselung, um Daten vor dem Zugriff durch unbefugte Dritte zu schützen. Zudem verfügt der Laptop über ein Kensington-Schloss zur Diebstahlsicherung. Eine Windows Hello-kompatible Kamera erlaubt die sichere Nutzerauthentifizierung durch biometrische Daten.

Perfekte Ergonomie

Zu den ergonomischen Besonderheiten des SCHENKER WORK 15 zählt ein spezielles Aufstellscharnier. Nach dem Aufklappen des Displays um bis zu 130 Grad fungiert dessen Unterkante als gummierter Standfuß und hebt den Laptop an der Hinterseite um 8,3 mm an. Dadurch steht die präzise, hintergrundbeleuchtete Tastatur leicht angeschrägt. So ist ein ermüdungsfreies, die Handgelenke entlastendes Arbeiten möglich. Gleichzeitig verbessert die erhöhte Standposition die Belüftung des Laptops und sorgt so für einen kühleren und leiseren Betrieb.
